Project Heidi and Ed Cussanti,
Fort Salonga, Long Island NY
Heidi and Ed were trading up. They purchased a beautiful home in Fort Salonga with great bones. The problem was the colors, mantles, and molding details were all very, VERY dated.
We all discussed how the architectural elements and moldings were of upmost importance. We all reviewed pictures and drawings and came up with plans to revamp this home! We added tons of architectural interested including arched entries, wainscoting, crown and bas moldings and a show-stopping fireplace mantle. We designed new and custom cabinetry, a new bar area and completely demolished the old mantle . Heidi wanted something new, and fresh and I wanted to make sure her new home represented their personalities.
- We knocked down the old staircase and designed a new and graceful curved staircase.
- We added intricate and beautiful molding throughout.
- We built custom mantles and designed a new bar for entertaining.
- We refinished the floors.
- We chose all new updated paint colors in soft, cool neutrals.
- We selected all interior furnishings (sofas, end tables, consoles, rugs, window treatments. etc.).
Most importantly, we put together a working plan for Heidi and Ed. We offered them furnishings not available at typical retail stores, we coordinated all aspects of the project and ultimately designed a home they feel defines them. A home they love and enjoy!!!
