For my client’s master bathroom in their Melville residence, we went back and forth in our decision for materials. The husband wanted a white marble Carrera flooring throughout the space, both the wife and I felt it would be beneficial for the master bath to have a warmer oak floor tile in replace of the stark white marble Carrera. This decision lingered, until the wife and I finally won over the husband, and in the end he decided that we were correct in playing off the warmer tones found in the diamond focal wall of the shower. By selecting just the right shade of blue for the walls, we were able to create a space for them that is not only clean and classic but also now warm and sophisticated.
