This room was one large dining room and living room. The dining room table (not shown) was traditional French country. I continued this an added black molding. I kept the window treatments simple and minimalist.
This living room in Westchester NY has soaring ceilings and great architectural details. In keeping with the traditional architectural elements we purchased furniture that was classic and timeless. We upholstered the wing chair in a comfortable, butter-soft leather and kept the fabric for the window treatments simple. This allowed the graceful and beautiful elements of the space to shine.

The recessed areas in the living room could have been problematic but we used them to our advantage with custom cabinetry and lighting to create a cozy sitting area with good lighting for reading.
